About HBOT
Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT)
HBOT is simply a technique for delivering high-purity oxygen to every cell in your body, while you lie back in a pressurized hyperbaric chamber. During your therapy, referred to as a dive, you can listen to music, watch TV, read, or sleep—all you have to do is breathe. Your treatment protocol is tailored to your specific healing goals. The average session lasts 90 minutes, including 60 minutes at your dive pressure.
For over 100 years, HBOT has been treating inflammation, infections, musculoskeletal, and traumatic brain injuries.
How it Works
Oxygen is critical for every organ and part of your body. HBOT delivers oxygen to every cell in your body, including injured or damaged areas. A hyperbaric chamber is a place where you can recline for 80-90 minutes while breathing high-purity oxygen in a pressurized chamber.
HBOT is a simple application of physics called Henry’s Law. Henry’s Law states that if you
put any liquid (blood, water, etc.) in contact with any gas (oxygen, nitrogen, etc.) and then put them under pressure the gas will thoroughly saturate the liquid.
High-Purity
Oxygen
Having a higher saturation of oxygen in our bodies helps us to recover faster and stave off many health problems.
Under
Pressure
Hyperbaric dives are set for different ranges of pressure, based on the wellness goals for each VOP.
Healing at the Cellular Level
HBOT is a great wellness enhancer—healthy cells love it; bad, unhealthy cells (contaminated with bacteria, viruses, etc.) do not last long in a high oxygen environment
While HBOT is not the primary treatment for many injuries and illnesses, it is known to help with a wide variety of health and wellness issues.* To include:
